For the "Skribble" Contest.....

A long time ago, when the Internet was a cold, dark and colorless place, a lonely sorceress contemplated this darkness as she sat in her chamber, gazing out upon the bleak landscape of the web from her window.
"I must find a way to bring the vivid colors of art to this dismal world ."

Then, in her loneliness, she created a small friend, and named him "Fella". Fella was more than just a companion to the lonely sorceress...he was a powerful little creature in his own right, endowed with a powerful magical talent all his own; that of bringing together artists and their works from all over the world.

He used his powers to lure them, one by one. For 11 years he labored and worked his magic, and the numbers grew and grew.

They came from all walks of life to the place Fella created called "DevianArt", at all levels of talent, and filled the darkness of the Internet with their colors. The sorceress smiled as she watched her little companion's labors turn the darkness bright and alive with color.

11 years ago DeviantArt was born, a labor of love of art, bringing the world together through the many talented peoples who populate this place, young and old, who share their work with us...bringing the Internet alive with color!
